A limited prayer is made seeking a direction to the respondent to grant pension to the petitioner.

Be that as it may, we have perused the record of the case. Learned counsel for the petitioner has invited our attention to the communication dated 26/08/2024 issued by the Deputy Director of Education, Nagpur Division, Nagpur, whereby a certain report was called for. Since the said report has not been taken to its logical conclusion, we direct the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Nagpur, to take the communication dated 26/08/2024 to its logical end, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks. 4.

The Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Nagpur, shall take into consideration the prayers made in this petition as well as the communication dated 26/08/2024, in accordance with law, and shall take appropriate action within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to produce a copy of the petition along with a copy of this order before the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Nagpur, within a period of one week from today.

The decision so taken shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of accordingly. 8.

Fees of the appointed counsel shall be quantified as per the Rules.
