This is an application for condonation of delay of 842 days in filing application for revision before this Court against the interim order made by Family Court in the matter of award of maintenance pending trial.

I have perused the reasons given in the application claiming condonation of delay so also reply filed by the non applicant. Upon perusal of the reasons given by the applicant in the revision application, I find that the inordinate delay of 842 days cannot be condoned. No sufficient reasons have been given in the application for explaining entire period of 842 days. What is explained is a short period in paragraph 10 of the application.

At any rate, the impugned order is an interim order and main case is pending. Hence, I make the following order.

ORDER

(i) Criminal Application No. 152/2014 is rejected. Consequently, Criminal Revision filed by the applicant is also rejected.

(ii) Trial expedited.
