DATE : 20.10.2016 By this contempt petition, the petitioner has sought action against the respondent for wilful disobedience of the directions in the order dated 22.1.2016.
According to the petitioner, though the respondent was directed to pay the arrears of salary to the petitioner within two months, and continue to pay the regular salary to the petitioner every month, the order was not complied with. Shri Tembhare, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondent states that the order could not be complied within the stipulated time for the reasons stated in the affidavit-in-reply, dated 19.10.2016. It is stated that the order stands complied with and the arrears of salary are paid to the petitioner on 19.10.2016.
2010cp317.16.odt In view of the statements recorded herein above, we do not find that there is any reason to proceed with the contempt petition any longer. Hence, we dispose of the contempt petition with no order as to costs.
