The petitioners seek a direction to be issued to the respondents to consider their application seeking appointment on the post of Health Nurse/ Public Health Nurse/Health Worker (Female).

It not in dispute that the petitioners are pursuing the course of B.Sc. Nursing in their fourth year. They have completed three years of education and the results of the fourth year examination are likely to be declared by 03.09.2023. Clause 3.6 of Advertisement No.1/23 stipulates that the date mentioned in the mark-sheet of the candidate would be treated as the date on which the requisite qualification is acquired. The advertisement also prescribes possession of such degree as qualification for making the application. The last date for submission of the application form is 25.08.2023. It is thus clear that till that date the petitioners would not be possessing the degree in B.Sc. Nursing. On the ground that on the last date of submission of the application form the petitioners have not acquired the requisite qualification, the prayers made in the writ petition cannot be granted. For this reason there is no case made out to interfere in writ petition. The writ petition is dismissed. No costs. (MRS. VRUSHALI V. JOSHI, J.) (A. S. CHANDURKAR, J.) APTE
