In view of the consent extended by the petitioner, let the entire amount of compensation be deposited with respondent No.2-Land Acquisition Officer.

If a request to release the amount of compensation is so made or already pending on behalf of the petitioner, same be considered having regard to the mandate provided under Section 31 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of four weeks from the date of deposit of the compensation amount.

The civil application as well as the writ petition accordingly stand disposed of.
