The applicant is seeking bail in Crime 396/2020, registered with Police Station Nagpuri Gate, Amravati, for offence punishable under section 307 of Indian Penal Code. 2.

The applicant approached this Court in Bail Application (BA) 214 of 2021.

This Court (Coram : Shri Vinay Joshi, J.), vide order dated 26.4.2021, rejected the bail application after analyzing the entire material on record. However, liberty was granted to the applicant to renew the prayer for bail, if the charge is not framed within six months. It is not in dispute that the charge is framed well within the period stipulated.

The applicant has not demonstrated any change in

ba1236.2021.odt circumstances, much less a material change, as would warrant a re-look at the entitlement of bail. Mr. S.S. Jadhav, the learned counsel submits that there is material contradiction in the statements of witnesses. However, as I have recorded earlier, the entire material was analyzed threadbare by co-ordinate Court and a finding was recorded that prima facie the applicant is involved. The co-ordinate Bench recorded that the applicant carried knife, inflicted blows on vital parts, the statements are recorded immediately, the victim is medical examined within an hour of the incident and the injury report is consistent with version of the injured and the eye witnesses. I agree with the reasons recorded by the co-ordinate Bench while dismissing the earlier bail application, and I have nothing further to add. 5.

The application is dismissed.
