Considering the limited relief sought, Rule is made returnable forthwith.

Shri A. M. Deshpande, learned In-charge Government Pleader waives service of notice for respondent Nos.1 to 5. Service on respondent No.6 is dispensed with.

The petitioner seeks regularization of services rendered by him for the period from o4/05/1997 to 22/01/2003. This is to enable the petitioner to receive pensionary benefits. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that similarly situated employee had sought regularization of his services for the same period and the State Government through its School Education and Sports Department has granted such relief by its order dated 06/04/2023. The petitioner therefore seeks leave to approach the State Government and seek similar benefits.

In view of aforesaid, by treating the present writ petition as a representation to the respondent No.1, the respondent No.1 shall consider its earlier order dated 06/04/2023 and take a decision on the petitioner's prayer for regularizing his services for the period from

6-WP-5905-23.odt 2/2 04/05/1997 to 22/01/2003. The necessary decision be taken within a period of eights weeks of receipt of copy of the present writ petition as well as the order. The decision taken be communicated to the petitioner.
