20th March, 2017 The applicant prays for condonation of delay in filing the First Appeal. The reasons for the delay are mentioned in paras 2 and 3 of the application. The prayer is opposed by Mr. Jagtap, learned counsel for respondent no.3.
Considering the reasons assigned, the delay in filing the First Appeal stands condoned, subject to applicant-appellant not being entitled for interest on the amount of compensation, if enhanced, for the period from 5th May, 2014 till 15th September, 2015. Civil Application is allowed and disposed of.

In view of order passed on Civil Application No. 25 of 2016 as aforesaid, the appellant would not be entitled for interest on the amount of compensation, if enhanced, for the period from 5th May, 2014 till 15th September, 2015.
