We have heard learned Counsel for the petitioner for some time.

The prayer in this petition is to grant Police protection to the petitioner, which was rejected by the Authorities way back on 16-04-2018. The petition was pending since then. 3.

From last six years, there appears to be no life threats to the petitioner.

In view of the matter, we do not see any reason to cause indulgence in the petition. Accordingly, the same stands disposed of. 5.

However, the disposal of the petition shall not come in the way of the petitioner to apply afresh.
