DATE : March 11, 2020.
The respondents herein had approached the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal seeking benefit of Government Resolution dated 20.08.2014 for grant of monetary benefits. The Tribunal while allowing the Original Application has referred to an order passed by its bench at Aurangabad in Original Application No.635/2013 ( Prithviraj Kalyanrao Chavan and others Vs. The State of Maharashtra and others) and has thereafter allowed the original application. In the present writ petition, while issuing notice it was found that Writ Petition No.5487/2018 (State of Maharashtra and anr. Vs. Dr.Prithviraj K.Chavan and others) had been filed by the State challenging the order passed by the Tribunal at Aurangabad.
It is now submitted that the aforesaid writ petition was heard and thereafter dismissed on 07.02.2020. As a result, the order passed by the Tribunal in Original Application No.635/2013 has been upheld.
WP8230.18 2/2 Hence for the reasons assigned in Writ Petition No.5487/2018, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. JUDGE JUDGE Andurkar..
