Perused the report of the concerned Principal District Judges.

Since there is no independent District Legal Services Authority at Washim and since the District Legal Services Authority, Akola is also discharging its functions and responsibilities in relation to Washim Judicial District, the penalty of Rs.15,000/- directed to be deposited with Washim District Legal Services Authority by the order dated 08/08/2016 passed in Criminal Application [APL] 480/2016 would have to be diverted to Akola District Legal Services Authority.

Accordingly, the direction contained in order dated 08/08/2016 is modified and the word 'Washim'

appp.1190.16.odt 2 appearing in the last line of paragraph 4 (page no.3) of the order be substituted by the word 'Akola' and that there shall also be an addition of the words 'as costs' to be inserted after the words 'to be paid' and before the words 'within two weeks' appearing in line 3 of paragraph 4. It is further clarified that if any amount of Rs.15,000/- has already been deposited by the applicant in the Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Washim, it shall be transferred to District Legal Services Authority, Akola and if it is done, it shall amount to compliance with the aforestated direction.

The application is allowed and disposed of in these terms.
