Heard the learned counsel for the applicant.

Perused the contents of the application. The proposed amendment does not change the nature of the petition. The same is necessary for effectively deciding the writ petition. The amendment should be carried out within a period of one week. After the amendment is carried out, issue notice to the newly added respondent, returnable on 26th of October, 2015. The civil application is allowed in the aforesaid terms and disposed of.

WRIT PETITION NO. 2197 OF 2015 If the elections to the seat of the petitioner are not yet held, the respondents are restrained from holding the elections to the Gram Panchayat till the returnable date.
