DATED : 3 0-07-2025 The applicants/appellants have filed this application to direct the respondent-acquiring body to deposit the compensation amount as per the judgment and order dated 28/11/2024.

In response, learned Assistant Government Pleader seeks six weeks time to deposit the said amount in the Court. Statement accepted as undertaking to the Court. 3.

Having considered the reasons disclosed in the application as well as the fact that on 28/11/2024 this Court has partly allowed the appeal and directed the respondentacquiring body to deposit the amount of enhanced compensation in this Court within six months and the appellants were permitted to withdraw the same, despite the said order, the respondents failed to comply the same in stipulated time. Hence the application is allowed as prayed.

The respondent-acquiring body is directed to deposit the amount of enhanced compensation as per the judgment and order dated 28/11/2024 in this Court within a period of eight

2 20-CAF-2697-25.odt weeks, failing which, this Court will be constrained to initiate action against the officers who will be held responsible for not complying the order.
