DATED : 27th August, 2019 The grievance of the petitioner in this petition is that he should be continued in service beyond 31-08-2019 till he attains the age of 60 years. Normally, the petitioner would retire upon completing the age of 57 years, being the member of Central Reserve Police Force.

Shri. Aurangabadkar, the learned Assistant Solicitor General of India, has produced before us the order dated 19-08-2019 passed by the Government of India Ministry of Home Affairs, determining the factors for raising the age of retirement of CRPF, BSF, ITBP, SSB, CISF, AR (regular cadre of Paramilitary

WP No.5872 of 2019 Component) to the age of 60 years, irrespective of the rank. Consequently, the petitioner would be entitled to continuation in service up to the age of 60 years. Hence, the grievance of the petitioner does not survive. Needless to say that, if the petitioner does not receive the order of continuation in service on or before 31-08-2019, he shall be continued in service beyond 31-08-2019 till he attains the age of 60 years. The petition stands dispose of.
