The only relief sought by the petitioner in this petition is to direct the respondent-Education Officer to decide the representations dated 20.08.2024 filed by the petitioner. 3.

It is contention of the petitioner that considering the seniority he has been promoted on the post of Headmaster w.e.f. 01.08.2022. When the proposal for approval was forwarded to the respondent-Education Officer, the respondentEducation Officer has notified some discrepancies in the said proposal for grant of approval to promotion to the post of Headmaster. It is now contended that the petitioner has removed the discrepancies and submitted a detailed representation dated 20.08.2024, which is informed to be pending.

In the aforesaid backdrop, we find that the petition can be disposed of by directing the respondent-Education Officer to

10 wp4507.25.odt decide the representations filed by the petitioner as early as possible but in any case within a period of three weeks from today, in accordance with law.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader to inform this order to the concerned Education Officer.

With this, the petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
