The petitioner has filed this application to substitute the word "contested" in line 2 of paragraph No.2 of the petition with the word "Voted". A certified copy of the voters' list and a copy of the Election Card are also annexed to the application. 3.

Having considered the same, I find substance in his contention. The petitioner is permitted to substitute the word "contested" in line 2 of paragraph No.2 with the word "Voted". Accordingly, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause II. The amendment is to be carried out within two weeks, and an amended copy of the petition is to be supplied to the counsel for the respondent within one week thereafter. 4.

Civil Application is disposed of.
