This appeal was directed to be heard along with F.A. Nos.447/05, 448/05 and 453/05. The connected appeals have been decided today by relying upon earlier adjudication in F.A.No.447/05. The amount of compensation of Rs.50,000/- per hectare for dry crop land has been maintained in aforesaid appeals. As the land acquired which is subject matter of the present appeal is also from the same village, for reasons assigned in the judgment dated 25/08/2015 in F.A.No.447 of 2005 as well as connected appeals decided today, the following order is passed :

901-C-FA-521-08 2/2 The amount of compensation granted by the Reference Court at Rs.50,000/- per hectare stands confirmed. The claimants would be entitled for additional component for the period from 31/10/1996 till 28/07/1998. In case possession has been taken prior to issuance of notification under Section 4 of the said Act, the claimant would be entitled for rental compensation at 8% per annum from the date of taking possession till 31/12/1996. Rest of the award stands confirmed.

Appeal is disposed of in aforesaid terms.
