Heard the learned Counsel for the applicant and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

Perused the F.I.R. and the statements of the witnesses.

The prosecutrix, though aged about 15 years, had lived along with this applicant as his wife for a period of about eight months from July, 2015 to March, 2016. The applicant is in jail since 28/03/2016. Charge-sheet has been filed on 25/06/2016.

The learned Counsel for the applicant, on instructions, submits that the applicant is ready to furnish the local surety.

In these circumstances, no purpose would be served by keeping the applicant behind the bar for any longer period of time. The application, therefore, deserves to be allowed and it is

It is directed that the applicant be released on bail on his furnishing a P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- together with one solvent surety in the like sum, he shall be from Amravati District, on the following conditions.

1. The applicant shall attend the court proceedings regularly on the dates fixed in the matter.

2. He shall co-operate with the trial Court in expeditious disposal of the case.

3. He shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses in any manner.
