The present petition is filed for releasing the petitioner on temporary bail for a period of six months to undergo medical treatment at KEM Hospital, Mumbai. The petitioner, at present, is admitted in KEM Hospital, Mumbai in terms of the order passed by this Court.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that in the previous round of litigation, this Court by order dated 28-6-2024 in Criminal Writ Petition No. 142/2024 directed the respondents to release the petitioner, if not required in any other case. The order was carried before the Supreme Court in Special Leave to Appeal (Cri.) No. 10310/2024 and vide order dated 16-9-2025, the Supreme Court declined to interfere with the order passed by this Court, mainly on the count of petitioner's sufferance and various medical ailments. 4.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the process of releasing the petitioner has commenced and the petitioner will be permanently released within short time. The statement is accepted.
