Though it appears that the prayer made in the petition for a direction against the Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within a time frame appears to have been granted by the order dated 5th of October, 2016, mistakenly the order of disposing of the writ petition was not passed. Since we find that the prayer made in the writ petition is granted by the order dated 5th of October, 2016 and the respondent-Scrutiny Committee is directed to decide the claim of the petitioner within six months, we dispose of the writ petition in terms of the order dated 5th of October, 2016 with no order as to costs.
