In the present writ petition, the challenge is raised to the show cause notices dated 24.04.2025 and 03.07.2025 asking the petitioner to submit certificate of validity failure to which it is informed that the petitioner will be terminated from the service.

It is the case of the petitioner that the caste claim of the petitioner is pending before the Caste Scrutiny Committee. Therefore, the learned AGP was requested to take instructions within how much period the caste claim of the petitioner can be decided. Thereupon, he took instructions and make a statement that within three months the caste claim of the petitioner will be decided.

In that view of the matter, we dispose of the present writ petition with direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within three months from today.

In the meantime, the respondent No. 3 shall maintain the status-quo as regards the service of the petitioner. 6.

Learned AGP undertakes to communicate this order to the respondents.
