The petitioners by way of present petitions are raising grievance that though they have put in about 4 years service at Gadchiroli, they are not being transferred out of Gadchiroli district even though as per the Government Resolution dated 6.8.2002 they are entitled to be transferred.

The learned A.G.P. has stated that the petitioners earlier could not be transferred since there were a large scale of vacancies of Livestock Development Officer and the matter of selection of the Livestock Development Officer is pending with the Maharashtra Service Public Commission.

Be that as it may. Now in the affidavit filed on behalf of the respondents no.1, 3 and 4 it has been stated that the petitioners would be transferred out of

WP5192-14&ors..odt Gadchiroli district in the next general transfers in May2015. In that view of the matter, we find that the petitioners have served their purpose. The affidavit filed on behalf of respondents no.1, 3 and 4 is treated as an undertaking given to this Court.

Petitions stand disposed of.
