Mr Ananta Ramteke, Advocate for the petitioner Mr H. R. Dhumale, AGP for respondent No. 1/State CORAM :

ANIL S. KILOR AND VRUSHALI V. JOSHI, JJ.

DATED :

AUGUST 04 , 2025 .

This is the petition filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the Committee to expedite the decision on the claim of the petitioner.

2.

Whereas, the learned A.G.P. has pointed out that on 28/07/2025, when the matter was fixed before the Committee, the petitioner herself sought time and got the adjournment.

3.

Thus, it appears that, before the Committee, petitioner seeks adjournment and at the same time she approaches this Court for seeking direction against the Committee to expedite the decision. This is nothing but abuse of process of law. Such approach needs to be deprecated. Hence, We are of the opinion that the petition deserves to be dismissed with costs.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed for the above referred reasons with cost of Rs.5,000/-(Rupees five thousand only) to be paid to the High Court Gazetted Officers' Association, Nagpur within two weeks.
