DATED : NOVEMBER 21, 2016.
By this writ petition, the petitioners have sought a direction against the respondents to extend the term of the Executive Committee of the APMC or in the alternative direct the respondent no.2 to conduct the election to the APMC. Mrs. Prabhu, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, states that during the pendency of the writ petition, the election programme was declared and the elections to the market committee are concluded. It is stated that the results of the election to the APMC would be declared today.
