We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. The Grievances Committee has dismissed the application filed by the petitioner for grant of difference of pay as per 6th and 7th Pay Commission.

Any order passed by the Grievances Committee is appealable before the University and College Tribunal under Section 81 of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016. 3.

In the light of that, the petitioner can avail appropriate remedy in accordance with law. Time spent in prosecuting the present writ petition can be considered by the University and College Tribunal.
