CORAM :

ANIL L. PANSARE AND M. M. NERLIKAR, JJ.

DATE :

AUGUST 4, 2025 Request is to expedite the hearing of appeal filed by petitioner under Section 60 of the Bombay Police Act, 1951. The appeal being Appeal No.2/2025, is pending before Divisional Commissioner, Amravati.

2.

We are informed that the order impugned before Divisional Commissioner has been stayed on certain terms and conditions, which according to the petitioner are difficult to adhere to.

3.

Thus, according to the petitioner, though the order has been stayed, because of the stringent conditions, he is facing difficulty.

4.

If that be so, we deem it appropriate to direct the petitioner to approach the Divisional Commissioner with a request to expedite the appeal or to relax the conditions. If the application is so filed, the Divisional Commissioner shall consider the same on its own merit and shall proceed to decide it accordingly. 5.

The request for expeditious disposal of appeal shall, however, be considered favourably.

6.

The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. (M. M. Nerlikar, J.) (Anil L. Pansare, J.) Kahale
