R. Ingole, Advocate for petitioner.
CORAM : B. R. GAVAI & V. M. DESHPANDE, JJ.
DATE : SEPTEMBER 7, 2016 When the matter was listed in the morning, we expressed our displeasure for filing such types of petitions which are nothing else but publicity interest litigation. However, prior to dismissal of the petition, we thought it appropriate to give an opportunity to the petitioner to consider as to whether he would like to withdraw the petition. We had made it clear that if the petitioner presses into service the present petition, we will dispose of the petition with exemplary costs.
In the second half, upon taking instructions, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to withdraw the present petition.
Liberty granted as prayed for. The petition stands disposed of as withdrawn.
