Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner has tendered a copy of amendment application.

In view of the nature of amendment, the application is allowed. Necessary amendment be carried out within a period of two days. 4.

A prayer in this petition is to direct the respondents to pay the arrears of equal pay for equal work with interest to the petitioner in the light of the judgment of the Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.8640-8659 of 1997 dated 24th July, 2001.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has relied upon the judgment passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.2222 of 2002 along with connected Writ Petitions decided on 15th February, 2019. She has further relied upon the Government Resolution dated 20th March, 2025 and contended that it clearly covers the case of the petitioner. 6.

Be that as it may, the issue raised in this petition can be decided by the respondent No.1 in the light of the aforesaid judgments and the Government Resolution.

We direct the respondent No.1 to decide the issue raised in this petition by treating the present petition as representation and take it to its logical end within a period of eight weeks.

The learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to produce the copy of the petition along with the order passed today before the respondent No.1 within a period of two weeks. 9.
