The contentions of the petitioners are purely based on the principle that ad hoc employee be not replaced by another ad hoc employee. It is the case of the petitioners that the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, vide order dated May 03, 2024, has not granted interim protection, viz. the services of the petitioners be not replaced by other ad hoc employees. 2.

Thereafter, it appears that the respondents have taken steps for appointing fresh persons on ad hoc basis, for which reliance is placed on the order dated August 14, 2024 passed by the respondent No.2. 3.

In our opinion, since the petitioners have remedy to question the said order before the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, we dispose of this petition with liberty to the petitioners to move before the Tribunal. 4.

If the prayer is made to that effect, the same be decided by the Tribunal expeditiously without being influenced by the disposal of this petition.
