Heard Mr. N.S. Warulkar, learned Advocate for the applicant and Ms. Tajwar Khan, learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondent Nos.1 to 4.

We perused the applications. By the order dated 26/06/2019 passed by the Registrar (Judicial), the petition was dismissed against respondents Nos. 5 and 6 for want of prosecution. Therefore, the applicant has moved these applications to condone the 51-day delay caused in filing the restoration application and to restore the petition against respondents Nos.5 and 6.

Having considered the reasons stated in the applications, we deem it appropriate to allow them. Hence, the delay in filing the restoration application is condoned, and the names of respondent Nos.5 and 6 are restored to their original positions.

Upon the same being done, issue notice to respondents Nos.5 and 6, which is returnable after three weeks.

Both civil applications are allowed and disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.

The applicant is permitted to serve respondents No.5 and 6 by all modes of service permissible by law, including Hamdast.
