The matter is already decided by this Court. However, on 21.10.2010, cognizance of a news item was taken and Public Interest Litigation was taken up again suo motu by this Court. Accordingly on 29.09.2017, this Court passed an order directing respondent no.2 Collector, Gondia and respondent no.3 to visit the spot to understand the problems and to evolve a solution.

Accordingly respondents with Collector

Order 1701pil64.10 have visited the spot and report submitted by the Collector is now produced before this Court. Report shows that necessary facilities and amenities exists and all displaced persons have been rehabilitated at Shreeram Nagar. Photographs are also placed on record as part of the report.

Nobody is appearing for respondents to oppose the report.

In this situation, we accept the report and close the proceedings.
