The petition seeks direction to respondent Divisional Joint Registrar, Cooperative Societies to conduct an enquiry against respondent no.6, as provided under Section 88 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960.

Respondent no.6 is an Ex-administrator and it is alleged that he has committed certain irregularities in 2003, 2004 and 2005.

We find that there is an enquiry report in respect of the business of the Bank during 2002 to 2005. Thereafter, enquiry was also conducted and reports are submitted.

The petition is filed in the year 2016. We do not find any propriety and justification in entertaining the same and to go into the reports submitted. If certain conclusions are drawn, which are required to be implemented, it is for the State Government to take appropriate decision in the matter. Writ Petition is thus, dismissed. No costs.
