This application is for seeking directions against the appellant for depositing the amount of compensation.

First appeal is already disposed of as partly allowed vide judgment dated 14/01/2022. After the judgment, the appellant has not deposited the interest amount which is @ 8% on the sum of Rs.9,65,000/-. 4.

Shri A.S. Deshpande, learned Counsel submitted that since the date of judgment, the interest amount is not deposited, and therefore, directions be given to the appellant to deposit the amount of interest. 5.

Shri Kadu, learned Assistant Government Pleader submitted that he had communicated with the concerned officials who informed him that they have already requested and put demand for depositing the

08.caf.2260.22.odt amount of compensation. He requires eight weeks time to comply the same.

In view of the reasons mentioned in the application and considering the submission made by Shri Kadu, learned Assistant Government Pleader, the appellant is directed to deposit the amount of interest on the compensation amount within 12 weeks.
