DATED : 2nd MAY, 2024 The petitioner who has superannuated on 28.2.2022 as Chowkidar from the respondent No. 2, has approached this Court on the ground that leave encashment and gratuity has not been paid. The non-payment according to him is on account of the employer not having forwarded the proposal in this regard to the concerned authorities. Mr. Onkar B. Kale, learned counsel appears for the respondent No.2 / employer and affirms to the position that the proposal has not been forwarded, considering which, we dispose of this petition by directing the respondent No.2 to forward the proposal for payment of gratuity and leave encashment as well as 4th installment

2 56-6200-2023.odt of 7th Pay Commission to the Education Officer within a period of two weeks from today. The Education Officer shall decide the same within a period of two weeks therefrom. The petition is disposed of in above terms. No costs.
