The learned counsel for the parties state that the issue involved in this petition was also involved in Writ Petition No.1591/2014, decided by this Court by the order, dated 31.3.2015. It is stated that in the said writ petition also, the petitioner had retired after attaining the age of superannuation as is the case in this petition also. It is stated that this writ petition could also be disposed of by passing a similar order. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel, for the reasons recorded in the order, dated 31.3.2015 in Writ Petition No.1591/2014, we partly allow this writ petition.

As no fruitful purpose could be served by sending the caste claim to the scrutiny committee for verification after the petitioner's retirement, the services of the petitioner are protected and the petitioner would be entitled to all the service benefits on the condition that the petitioner furnishes an undertaking to this court and also to the respondent no.
