DATE : September 23, 2016 Applicants are present before the Court. It appears that because of some family disputes between applicant No.1 and 2, police complaints have been lodged.

Parties present are identified by their counsel. Parties state that they have mutually settled the disputes. They therefore jointly request for setting aside the FIR. The FIR is registered under Sections 498A, 294, 506B, 385 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Regular Criminal Case No.300908/2013 has been instituted on its basis. The offence is not against the public law. As such accepting the joint request, we make the Rule absolute in terms of prayer clause (a).
