ATE : SEPTEMBER 05 , 2024 The petitioner has approached this Court against the impugned show-cause notice, whereby his caste validity certificate as belonging to 'Thakur' (Schedule Tribe) is sought to be reconsidered. It is the contention of the petitioner that the validity certificate is issued after following due process by the Appellate Authority.

2) It is not that the respondent Committee has no jurisdiction to initiate proceedings for cancellation or recalling of the validity certificate granted. In our opinion, it is always open for the petitioner to demonstrate all his views and points through the evidence of which he is in possession before the respondent Committee. If such issue is raised by the petitioner, it shall be dealt with by the respondent Committee.
