By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction against the State Government to declare the elections to the A.P.M.C., Digras. The petitioner seeks the extension of the term of the market committee till the election is concluded.

Mrs. Prabhu, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the State Government, states on instructions that the elections to the A.P.M.C., Digras are already declared and voting is scheduled on 15.01.2017. In view of the statement made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, a part of the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. Hence, we dispose of the writ petition by accepting the statement of the learned Assistant Government Pleader that would be binding on the State Government and continue the order of the interim relief till the actual date of the conduct of the elections. Order accordingly. No costs.
