SWAPNA JOSHI, JJ.

DATE : 09.12.2016 The only prayer made by the petitioner in the instant petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Headmaster as some Headmasters from the Scheduled Castes Category have retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation. It is stated that since the petitioner was earlier working as a Headmaster and was declared surplus and since the posts are vacant, a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner would be necessary.

Shri Kapgate, the learned Counsel for the Education Officer (Primary) Zilla Parishad, Gondia states, on instructions, vide communication, dated 7.12.2016, that the meeting for

In view of the statement made by the learned Counsel for the respondent - Zilla Parishad, the grievance of the petitioner should stand redressed. Hence, we dispose of the writ petition with no order as to costs.
