The learned A.P.P. has produced before us the decision of the Categorisation Committee and as per the said decision, the petitioner can be released from prison after undergoing 26 years' of imprisonment. According to the respondents, the petitioner has undergone imprisonment of 21 years and 19 days.

In view of above, the present petition has become infructuous. The same is, therefore, dismissed as such.

We make it clear that we have not gone into correctness of the decision and it shall be open for the petitioner to challenge the same, if so advised. JUDGE JUDGE *jaiswal
