The Petitioners are seeking a writ of mandamus against Zilla Parishad, Nagpur to direct them to grant benefit from the date of appointment as Junior Engineer under the Assured Career Progression Scheme in view of the judgment of this Court in Writ Petition No.2605/2017 (The Association of
the Sub-ordinate Service of Engineers Maharashtra State and others V/s. The State of Maharashtra and others) dated 6 February 2019. A writ of mandamus is sought to give effect to the law laid down by this Court but none of the Petitioners have demonstrated that benefit flowing from judgment which the Petitioners seek to rely upon is denied by their employer. That be so, it is open to the Petitioners to apply to the employer annexing the copy of the judgment. If the same is done, Respondent employer will examine the law laid down by this Court and if it is found that Petitioners are entitled, proceed to give effect to the claim of the Petitioners.

Writ petitions are accordingly disposed of.
