The applicant/Claimant has filed this application for condonation of delay of 258 days in filing the appeal against the Judgment and Award dated 14.09.2022 in Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Nagpur in M.A.C.P. No. 965 of 2017.

Though the learned Counsel for the respondent raised strong objection, but considering the statutory right of the applicant/Claimant and for the reasons stated in the application, the application stands allowed and the delay of 258 days stands condoned, subject to costs of Rs.500/- to be paid to the Vidarbha Lady Lawyers Association, Nagpur within two weeks. 4.

It is made clear that the applicant/Claimant shall not claim any interest for the aforesaid period of delay.
