On 02.07.2019, the learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions had submitted that the petitioner was willing to furnish information with regard to the extract of the attendance register of Shri V.N.Patle as per applications dated 31.12.2014 and 09.01.2015. Shri Mahesh Masodkar, learned counsel for the respondent no.3 submits that as the aforesaid information has been supplied, the purpose of filing of those applications has been served. Shri Amol Mardikar, learned counsel for the petitioner however submits that under the provisions of Section 8 of the Right to Information Act, 2005, the petitioner was not bound to supply aforesaid information and said contention be kept open. Keeping aforesaid contention open for being raised, if necessary in future, the writ petition is disposed of as having served its purpose. No costs.
