By present application, the applicant is seeking condonation of delay of seven days in filing the Appeal against conviction. The applicant has been convicted by the judgment and order dated 21.07.2023 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Akola in Spl. Child Protection Case No. 29/2015, for the offences punishable u/ss. 363, 354 of the IPC and sentenced to suffer RI for three years with fine amount.

Learned APP appearing for Respondent no.1-State has opposed the application.

However for the reasons stated in the Application and the delay being minuscule, the Application is allowed. The delay of seven days caused in filing the Appeal is hereby condoned. The Appeal be registered.
