CORAM : B.P. DHARMADHIKARI & MRS. SWAPNA JOSHI, JJ.
FEBRUARY 07, 2017.
Heard Shri P.R. Parsodkar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri S.P. Deshpande, learned Additional GP for the respondents.
2.
The petitioner claims an assurance by respondent No. 2 to consider his case favourably. Leave is, therefore, sought to withdraw the present writ petition. 3.
The learned AGP is relying upon reply affidavit to urge that there was no such assurance.
4.
It is apparent that Respondent No. 2 cannot extend any such assurance. Hence, without observing anything on merits of the controversy and with liberty to the petitioner to take necessary steps as per law, we dispose of the present civil application as also writ petition with no order as to costs.
