DATED : 30 -09-2024 When we confronted the learned Counsel for the petitioner about an inability to exercise writ jurisdiction to assist him by providing police assistance as sought for, he seek liberty to withdraw the petition.

Needless to state that the petitioner can approach the concerned District Magistrate for making a request for such police assistance and it shall be open for the Authority to consider such request.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
