The applicant/respondent No. 2 has filed this application to permit him to withdraw the amount of compensation deposited by the appellant along with interest accrued thereon, for which learned counsel for the appellant has no objection, as the appeal was already withdrawn before the Lok Adalat on 11.12.2021. 3.

It further appears that during pendency of the appeal on 18.08.2023, the respondent No.1 has expired, and the death certificate is also filed on record.

In view of the above, the application is allowed as prayed. The applicant is permitted to withdraw the amount along with interest accrued thereon within six weeks on his furnishing bank account details to the Registry.

On furnishing bank account details by the applicant, Registrar (J) is directed to transmit the compensation amount along with interest to the bank account of the applicant. The application is disposed of.
