The matter pertains to the rejection of the objection of the petitioner in respect of the wrongful inclusion and deletion of the voters in the voters list prepared for the agriculture produce market committee elections that were to be held in the year 2005. Since the term of office of the members of the committee is five years as per the provisions of the Act, the cause for filing the writ petition is rendered infructuous due to passage of time.

The writ petition is disposed of with no order as to costs. Rule stands discharged.
