On 08.02.2021 when the matter was called out for final hearing, a statement was made that the appellant has undergone the sentence and was released after completion of his sentence. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor was requested to take the information in that regard.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has placed on record the communication dated 16.02.2021 under the signature of Superintendent of Yavatmal District Prison-1, Yavatmal, wherein it is mentioned that the appellant has undergone the sentence of seven years and after payment of the fine amount, he was released on 20.08.2013.

In that view of the matter, the present appeal has become infructuous and the same is disposed of as infructuous.

The High Court Legal Services SubCommittee, Nagpur to pay the fees within a period of four weeks from today.
