By present application, the legal representative of respondent no.1 is seeking to change the name of the son of the deceased respondent no.1. His name has been mentioned as Hansraj Anandrao Gopale, whereas his name is Hansraj Anandrao Gowpale. 2] The father's name, i.e., the name of respondent no.1, before the Reference Court, is mentioned as Anandrao Gopale. Thus, decree is passed in the name of Anandrao Gopale and not in the name of Anandrao Gowpale.

3] In the circumstances and to set the record right, appropriate remedy is to seek amendment in decree followed by consequential amendment in appeal. The applicant shall take necessary steps accordingly. 4] The Civil Application is disposed of in the above terms.
